Chopped steel wool: used in braked
pads and all friction instruments.A product which has clearly
replaced asbestos as a friction material in the manufacturing of
automotive brake pads and linings. We introduces a state of the
art technology in producing chopped steel fibers. With this
technology we chop the fibers, instead of crushing them, which
makes the fibers uniform in length and diameter, and maintains
the properties they were designed for. This is the reason why we
chose to divert from the industry standard of crushing the
fibers to CHOPPING them. To crush the steel wool according to
the industry standard in many companies, the steel fibers are
hammered in a uni-axial motion, which causes them to
disintegrate in small randomly sized pieces, and it becomes
almost impossible to maintain uniformity, especially when
feeding in different grades of steel wool. Our technology
permits us to use a rotating chopper that keeps the distance
between the cutting pads and knives equal all the time and in
all directions, which produces extremely uniform patterns of
fibers with any grade of steel wool.

In addition to having control over fiber uniformity, we
also have complete control over the oil content in the
steel wool. We can produce oil free fibers.
We also offer the most competitive prices in the market.
